PERMIT
Sometimes it can be difficult to obtain a Work
Permit in New Zealand. MENTOR only applies for Work Permits
that we consider would be successful. To do this we have
experience of the labour market and the current skill
shortages in NZ.

Job offer letter from New Zealand
employer:
The employer needs to show efforts made to recruit
New Zealand staff member. Advertising in the National
newspaper or using a recruiting company. The reasons
that there are no New Zealanders suitable to fill this
position or be trained for the position.
Evidence of qualification and work experience to do
the job.
Additional Information:
Work Permits on relationship grounds:
Work Permits can be applied for by persons who are
married or in a de facto relationship with a NZ resident
AND their partner is currently in NZ.
Work Permits can be obtained for the spouse of a
person who has obtained a work permit.
Persons who are engaged to a NZ, AND who want to
come to NZ to marry within the 9 months can apply for
work visas/permits.
